Showcasing Champions of Change: Delhi’s Grassroots Innovations
The Delhi Yatra is the urban chapter of TARAgram Yatra 2025, designed to bring grassroots innovation into dialogue with policy and practice. Spanning half a day into the field, it connects participants to breakthrough civil society initiatives, innovative programmes from the CivSoc Challenge Winners, and culminates at Saar Sangam, where insights from the Yatra are distilled “from practice to policy.” It is where ideas meet influence, and community voices find space in the corridors of decision-making.
Why Delhi?
Delhi, India’s capital, is a hub where local action converges with national policy. Civil society organisations in and around the city are incubating powerful innovations—ranging from social entrepreneurship to climate resilience—that have the potential to scale across the country. As the stage for the CivSoc Challenge showcase, the Innovation Mela, and the convening ground for Saar Sangam, Delhi becomes the crucible where the grassroots wisdom of Bundelkhand is amplified, debated, and transformed into actionable pathways for inclusive and sustainable development.
